Snapshots

Bedtime Music
Schoolgirl
Today, I wanted to share a few snapshots I took lately around the house. A tired little boy after a long morning of playtime/The kids' favorite way to listen to music/A sweet little girl who loves to pretend school.

The day-in, day-out struggles of raising two wee ones while trying to pack up everything in our home that makes it more than just a house can sure wear a person down, but little moments like these make me remember that it's all worthwhile. Any challenge that we face with these circumstances is going to be nothing more than a fleeting memory and the things that really count in this life are the little people who can always make me smile.

  1. How does Nathaniel like his little chart? I want to get one for Garrett but I'm not sure he'll get it.

    1. Nathaniel likes it a lot. He's grown to like it more and more and now he's trying (thus far unsuccessfully) to tell the time from it. It does come with little pegs to stick into the date and season slots but since we still have kids that are choking-hazard ages, we just put those away for now!

    1. I originally saw one in a picture online and did some hunting- I wasn't able to find one that was sold in the US (apparently they're bigger in Europe) but I ended up purchasing off of eBay. I went back and checked to see if that seller still sold the same one and they don't- now they sell a similar one:

I can't vouch for that exact toy, but we had a good experience with the seller so if you are looking for a cute learning tool, I'd say go for it!
