Through the Lens

Mall Adventuring
Mall Adventuring
We are still waiting with baited breath for things to calm down in these parts, but in the meantime, the wee ones and I took advantage of being kicked out of our house for a few hours to walk around the Mall of America.

Normally, we avoid said location on Tuesdays, thanks to this weekly mall event that is absolutely crawling with kids under the age of 5 and the GERMS and the SCREAMING and the bathrooms that smell like weed. True story. This Tuesday, the kids and I made an exception, braving the throngs of Dora-infatuators and killed a few hours admiring the rides, the American Girl store (Evelyn's personal favorite), and my light at the end of the tunnel, Chipotle.

There's really nothing like Mexican-American food dancing around on my pallet after everything that's gone down this week, but on the up-side, it's finally reached the point of absolutely ridiculous proportions that I will share as soon as I can. In the meantime, we're trying to avoid screaming about the sky falling and we're laughing in the midst of all the things that are going wrong.

But honestly, if one more thing in my house breaks down an an inopportune moment, the next place I'll be posting from will be a mental asylum.
