Our Easter was full of great family time, a belated birthday celebration complete with a Peep cake, and scads of fun for the littles. Nathaniel embraced the search for his Easter basket this year (complete with the tradition of handmade clues) and finally found the goodies in "Bubba's" truck. Evelyn was too young to get into the excitement of the search, but that didn't stop her from enjoying a good chew on her basket and, of course, the doll within as well.

Being able to celebrate Easter with our family was wonderful and watching my littles ones enjoy the Easter basket tradition that my parents started with my sister and I was priceless. I can hardly wait for next year when both littles will be running around, searching for their baskets, and will begin to be old enough to understand what Easter is all about.

  1. I can't believe how grown up Nathaniel looks in his little shirt and khakis! And Evelyn is getting so big, too :)

    1. It was great- and my Mom did a great job on the cake! If I turn out to be half the baker that she is, I will consider myself a great success!
