For the Electronics

Tuesday of this week was a big day in our house because it was the day that Nathaniel FINALLY decided to grace us with his ability to crawl. Since that first tentative movement, he has decided that crawling is only worth the effort if it involves procuring electronics, such as mama's cell phone or the baby monitor.

Admittedly, at this point, it's a bit of a hybrid between a crawl and a scoot, but with a little practice, my baby is going to be wearing out the knees in his pants before we know it.

Note: For the curious, I really do call my son "dude." It's quite a bit more flattering than some of the other nicknames I've come up with for him that usually revolve around diapers or poop. I figure it's one less thing I'll have to break myself of when he hits high school.

  1. "Dude" will be so far gone by his high school years that you will still be hearing "Mooooommm" paired with the classic eyeroll...
