Donning the SuperMom Cape

My baby is three months old. And while there are still many areas where I lack as a mother, I am starting to get the hang of a few things. Like nursing in public restrooms.

And before I go any further with this post, YES. I HAVE PURCHASED A NURSING COVER. After the responses to a previous post concerning nursing in a public restroom, I finally got around to ordering one online. Now I'm just waiting for it to arrive.

We recently went out to dinner. And like clockwork, the babe needed a diaper change and he was a bit fussy. After all, he hadn't eaten in more than 2 minutes and the dairy farm was mere inches from his face. It's like waving a chocolate bar in the face of a starving, pms-ing woman. NOTHING would keep him from getting what he wants!

So I pulled out my SuperMom cape once again and executed a toilet feeding. I hiked up my leg and propped myself against the toilet in order to feed my baby. Of course, Nathaniel couldn't be happier since he was being fed; it was less than ideal for mama, but since we've done this more than once, we are quickly becoming very proficient in this area. In fact, I am considering releasing an instructional video series on toilet feedings. It'll be my cash cow. Cha-ching.

Look for the video "SuperMom and Breastfeeding: Toilet Training" at stores near you!

  1. Oh, are too funny!

  2. Did you order one from the link I sent you awhile back? All you had to do was pay for the shipping and you got a free cover.

  3. Yep, that was the one I used! They have some adorable patterns but they're all backordered until later this month.
