Now my little boy is a hungry hippo, a tired hippo, a cute hippo... you get the idea.
Eventually, I'm sure Jonathan and I will have to break ourselves of this habit so we don't make our son feel as though he is too large, but for now we find it very adorable and somewhat fitting. Nathaniel was a large baby when he was born (9 pounds 14 ounces, 21.5 inches) and he has since grown by leaps and bounds.
I was recently asked for Nathaniel's stats and out of pure curiosity, I measured him today to see how far we had come. In the span of seven weeks, my little boy has changed so much; Nathaniel now weighs in at 15 pounds and is roughly 23 inches long!
I can hardly believe how much he has changed these past few weeks and I'm sure that the changes will continue at an astonishing pace. For now, I fully intend on soaking up every wonderful moment and enjoying life with my hungry little hippo.
hehe. I like it! One of my friends out here did the whole SNL stunt of naming their fetus "Pat" while in uetero, and now EVERYONE calls be poor little man by it!
