Jonathan has been craving goo bars for the last few days. Today, he decided he wanted them so badly that he made a special trip out to the grocery store to pick up the ingredients! They smell delicious- we're waiting for them to cool enough to eat them now!

Goo Bars

Cream together in a bowl:

1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
Press mixture into the bottom of a greased 9" square pan. Sprinkle on top of mixture:
2 cups mini marshmallows
6 ounces chocolate chips
Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees.

  1. I love it when the daddies crave things! It makes me feel so much better!!!!

    How was the ice cream?

  2. Oh I agree! And the ice cream was fabulous- we finished it off last night!

  3. Do you melt the butter or is it just supposed to be soft and mixed with the grahams, flour, and brown sugar? Thank you SO MUCH for all of the recipes!!

  4. No problem! I typically melt the butter or let it sit out for awhile first because otherwise it's too hard to mix, coming straight out of the fridge. As long as it's soft or melted you should be fine!!
